AUDITIONING FOR LDYE 
LDYE is a teaching ensemble for string musicians from ages 8 to 18.   Admission to LDYE is based on audition.  Auditions for LDYE are held each year in June and are open to any regional string instrument players in grades 3-12.   Interested students must be able to read music and to play at least a level 2 NYSMA solo (book 2 Suzuki) and a two-octave major scale.  In order to audition for LDYE, students should be prepared to play a selection of scales and a solo piece of their choosing. TUITION
Tuition for LDYE is $125.00 per semester for each student in the ensemble.  Tuition should be paid in full by the end of the second week of each semester.  If a family has more than one child in LDYE, tuition is $125.00 for the first child and $100.00 for each additional child. Checks should be made payable to LDYE and can be given to the Business Manager, Athena Gill, during rehearsal.  Tuition payments can also be mailed to:
